Surgeries

Your three ward councillors normally hold four local advice surgeries each month (Christmas and other holidays may affect these). These are private meetings between councillors and local residents where you can raise issues of concern.

Please note that during the coronavirus outbreak, in order to keep people safe and limit the level of face to face contact, all our advice surgeries are by telephone or online only, and do not take place at the usual locations as listed below. Please check this page to see which number to call.

First Saturday of the month, 10am to 11am, at Wickersley Library and Community Centre

Second Thursday of the month, 6.30pm to 7.30pm, at Bramley Parish Hall

Third Tuesday of the month, 9:30am to 10:30am, at Mark Grove Community Centre

Fourth Monday of the month, 6pm to 7pm, at Sunnyside Community Centre

(You can also see the dates and times on our calendar of upcoming local events).

During the coronavirus outbreak we are also making additional times available to speak to residents who may have concerns or need assistance with council services:

  • Sue Ellis is available to take your telephone calls every day Monday to Friday between 9am and 10am on 01709 540497
  • Emma Hoddinott is holding an additional “virtual” surgery every Monday evening between 6pm and 6:30pm. If you have a computer with a webcam you can videocall via Zoom, just click here (and install the small file if you have not used Zoom before – this is a safe process). You can also dial in by telephone to the same system by calling 0208 080 6592 and using meeting ID: 496 755 300. These are private conversations, so if it’s busy you will be held in a virtual waiting room.
