Help us get a better crossing for Brook Lane

brook lane crossing - no number plates

A number of residents have told us about their concerns about crossing Brook Lane as it heads down the hill towards the “Elton” roundabout, particularly when taking small children to and from school. We’re asking the council to look again at the possibility of a pedestrian crossing or island “refuge” to help keep pedestrians safe. Please add your name below to sign our petition and strengthen our case.

Brook Lane crossing

We the undersigned call on Rotherham Council to improve crossing facilities for pedestrians on Brook Lane, around the junction with Lidget Lane and the Copse. This is a popular walking route especially to the local schools and it is difficult to cross with the speed of traffic coming down Moor Lane South.
