There’s snow time like the present

Cllr Sue Ellis clearing snow on the Tanyard during recent bad weather

The recent bad weather has reminded us – if you want to play your part in helping to keep our pavements and public areas clear of snow, support is always available to become a volunteer snow warden.

The council will provide you with suitable hi-vis, gloves, a snow shovel and rock salt, to help keep small public areas safe like Cllr Ellis did during the recent freezing weather.
