Helping to keep our area looking at its best is always one of our local priorities, and of course one of the little things that annoys people the most is dog dirt. Or worse, dog dirt in plastic bags hanging from trees. Who leaves them there anyway? Don’t they know that there’s no such thing as the poo fairy?
Well, we’ve got some new stickers from the nice people at Keep Britain Tidy to remind everyone, and they’re appearing on bins across the ward.
Of course, leaving dog dirt in any public place can also land you with an on the spot fine of £100 under the council’s Public Spaces Protection Order – with that figure rising substantially in the worst cases that end up in court.

Hopefully the new stickers will raise a smile, but please do remember to put your dog waste in a bin!
