At last week’s full council meeting, councillors considered a report as part of the Community Governance Review, looking at the boundary between Bramley and Ravenfield Parish councils.
For background to the issue, please click here.
The report from council officers, following the first round of cosultation, recommended that the boundaries remain the same – at least for the time being. This was the position supported by two thirds of the people who took part in the first stage of the consultation.
As Wickersley’s ward representatives we supported this approach, as did the overwhelming majority of councillors from elsewhere in the borough. You can hear Cllr Sue Ellis and Cllr Emma Hoddinott’s contributions to the debate by clicking here.
The Community Governance Review now moves to a further round of consultation, and you can have your say via the council’s website.
