More road resurfacing on its way

The latest round of our 2020 Road programme investment is underway. Rosemary Road (pictured above, with Cllr Emma Hoddinott) and Melciss Road at Wickersley are currently being resurfaced, with works expected to be completed in a couple of weeks’ time.

We are expecting works shortly afterwards along the lower sections of Sycamore Avenue (pictured below) and Flanderwell Lane.

We are now in the fourth year of the five year commitment made by Labour councillors which has seen investment in repairing Rotherham’s roads doubled and hundreds of site across the borough resurfaced.
