2020 Roads programme continues

At last year’s local elections, we promised to continue increased investment in Rotherham’s roads. At the council’s budget in March, Labour councillors backed a further £10 miliion of capital investment over the next three years.

You can already see the impact in our area of the additional money spent in the last couple of years: resurfacing of the Crescent East and West estate at Sunnyside, Blackthorn Avenue and Flanderwell Avenue at Bramley, Greenwood Crescent and Warren Road in Wickersley, as well as the one way stretch through the middle of Bramley.

At the moment there is more resurfacing work taking place in Bramley, on Belvedere Parade, Balmoral Way, Holyrood Rise and Harewood Grove (pictured above recently). Further works in our area are planned for later this financial year.

We appreciate your patience during any inconvenience caused but hope that residents will benefit from this investment in a local priority.
