Listerdale sheds and out buildings benefit from free locks and alarms

2015-03-11 10.59.46

Our councillor’s Community Leadership Funds have paid for free locks and shed alarms for properties on the Listerdale estate at Wickersley – the first ones were fitted this morning.

2015-03-11 10.19.11-1The packs include alarms, locks, a sign and a UV pen that can mark property and enable it to be identified if stolen.

We took police advice as to the streets that should be prioritised, and households on those streets should have received a letter informing them that they were entitled to the packs and free fitting.

However, there are still more packs available, so they’ll be on offer to more households later in the year.

Our thanks go to South Yorkshire Housing Association and Wentworth Valley Area Assembly staff for making this possible.
